Our History
CeNita’s story began nearly 60 years ago, when Cecil and Juanita Crumley purchased farmland in the heart of the Northeast Georgia Mountains. They raised a family, built a dairy farm, and poured their lives into the land.
Years later, they gifted a portion of that land to their children, who created CeNita Vineyards and The Venue at CeNita as a tribute to their parents’ legacy. Today, CeNita remains a place of beauty, faith, and love—just as it was always meant to be.
Chambourcin (Red)
A bold, barrel-aged red with notes of blackberry, dark cherry, and a smooth, oaky finish. Aged in Woodford Reserve barrels for a hint of spice. Pairs well with steak, barbecue, and aged cheese.
Summer Breeze (White)
A crisp, refreshing white with hints of citrus, honeysuckle, and pear. Light-bodied with a smooth finish, perfect for outdoor sipping and seafood pairings.
Chardonnay (White)
A classic, elegant Chardonnay, delicately balanced with notes of apple, vanilla, and a light oak finish. Perfect for pairing with creamy dishes, roasted chicken, or soft cheeses.
Merlot (Red)
Rich and full-bodied, this smooth Merlot is bursting with black cherry, mocha, and subtle spice. Aged to perfection, it pairs beautifully with Italian cuisine, grilled meats, and bold cheeses.

In 2023, lifelong Cleveland residents Nathan and Brandi Barrett became the new owners of CeNita. Their vision is rooted in family, community, and continuing the legacy of the Crumleys. With their kids and extended family involved, CeNita remains a place where everyone feels welcome.
They’re enhancing the experience with thoughtful updates, expanded lodging, and a commitment to keeping CeNita relaxed, family-friendly, and full of heart. For Nathan and Brandi, this isn’t just a business—it’s a dream they’re building for the next generation.
